The biting cold, warm rays of sun, and a glistening ice surface - in Hinterglemm and Zell am See, ice skating stands for enjoyment under the open sky. Whether leisurely skating in pairs or working to set a new best time: while skating along the thick ice of the Zeller See, time seems to pass even faster with each step you take. Venture out onto the ice - you won't regret it!

Surrounded by the alpine panorama of the Zeller See, it becomes clear why so many people here indulge in this so elegant winter sport. Yet, there is also plenty of room for the more robust race skaters or hockey players: whether a 'Rittberger' or 'penalty shooter' - the frozen surface between the Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe is open to everyone.

When the weather gods decide to melt the ice, this doesn't mean that skating has to come to an end in Saalbach - Zell am See.
There is still the Zell indoor rink.

International teams as well as figure skaters and speed skaters hold their training camps at the home of the local ice hockey club. And even the professionals of the national ice hockey association use the hall as a training center.
