Winter fun and deep-snow adventures: From the hotel, our private shuttle comfortably takes you straight into the world of skiing and snowboarding. Enjoy carving and skiing on 200 km of perfectly groomed slopes and experience pure joy on the snow-covered mountain sides in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang.

55 cable cars and lifts, floodlit slopes open until 9:30 p.m., fun parks, and action-packed experiences await you. To top it all off, ski right back to the Altachhof via our private groomed ski run from the Westernstadl.

Winter at the Altachhof

In winter, you’re right in the heart of one of Austria’s most famous ski regions.

The Altachhof is located on the edge of the village center in a peaceful setting. A specially groomed ski run leads directly from the new Bernkogelbahn – via the Westernstadl – back to the Altachhof. This run is an insider tip, and after après-ski at the Westernstadl, you can ski down the illuminated house run straight back to the hotel – the perfect way to end an exciting day on the slopes.

A Car-Free and Gas-Free Holiday at the Altachhof

Enjoy a relaxing, car-free vacation: Our convenient free hotel ski shuttle runs in the morning between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. – whenever you’re ready to hit the slopes, we’ll take you to the Saalbach lifts.

In the afternoon, we’ll pick you up from the Schattberg cable car between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. (maximum travel time: 5 minutes). Or simply use our private, groomed Altachhof ski run to return directly to the hotel.
