Skier- & Boardercross

Get your adrenaline fix this winter on the Skier and Boardercross course at the Bernkogel in Saalbach. This approximately 450-meter-long course was designed and built by none other than boardercross World Cup legend Mario Fuchs. With his team, he ensures that the track meets the highest standards, providing ideal conditions for true professionals.
Thanks to this course, Saalbach has become a popular training spot for pro snowboarders, skicross athletes, competitors, and those aspiring to become one.

Teens under 19 ski on Saturdays for just €10!
Every Saturday, the lift pass in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang costs just €10 for all skiers and snowboarders aged 6 to 19 years – a small price for unlimited fun in five snow parks, on 200 km of perfectly groomed slopes, and with access to 55 state-of-the-art lifts.

Night Skiing – Floodlit Slopes

Turn night into day on the floodlit piste at the Unterschwarzachbahn in Hinterglemm.

  • Length: 1,051 m
  • Elevation difference: 314 m
  • Operating hours: Daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Floodlit operation: Monday to Saturday until 9:30 p.m.

In addition to the easy main run and a red variant at the top, the popular NIGHTPARK, the SkiMovie race course, as well as speed and snowtubing tracks, offer lots of fun and variety. Use of the lift (including evening rides!) is included in a valid ski pass. (Single tickets also available.)

Tip: The illuminated toboggan run at the Reiterkogel in Hinterglemm also operates Monday through Saturday.

FIS Rules of Conduct for All Skiers and Snowboarders

  • Respect for Others
    Every skier or snowboarder must behave in such a way that they do not endanger or harm anyone else.
  • Control of Speed and Skiing Style
    Every skier or snowboarder must adapt their speed and style to their ability and to the terrain, snow, and weather conditions.
  • Choice of Route
    The skier or snowboarder coming from behind must choose their route in such a way that they do not endanger those ahead.
  • Overtaking
    Overtaking is allowed from above or below, from the right or left, but always with enough distance to allow the overtaken person space for any movement.
  • Entering or Crossing the Slope
    Anyone entering a slope or crossing the piste must look up and down to ensure it is safe to do so—this also applies after stopping.
  • 5. Stopping on the Piste
    Skiers and snowboarders must avoid stopping in narrow or blind spots on the slope without need. If someone falls, they must clear such areas as quickly as possible.
  • Climbing or Descending on Foot
    Anyone climbing or descending the piste on foot must keep to the edge and leave the slope entirely in poor visibility.
  • Obeying Signs
    All piste users must obey the markings, signs, and signals on the slopes.
  • Assistance in Case of Accidents
    In the event of an accident, everyone is obligated to provide assistance.
  • Duty to Identify
    Anyone involved in or witnessing an accident must provide their personal details, whether responsible or not.
